Hi, Arlee. I find the circular movement to be interesting in this piece (well, besides the stitching and the lovely golden colors), and the interrupted circle–life and death (how could one ignore the skeleton?) in a cyclical movement. I enjoy following the “life” of this piece.

Nadia, thank you for the thoughtful comment. Indeed, life and death are sometimes nightmares, interrupted or not, finishing and breaking a person, or making them stronger, letting them see what others don’t. Not a “downer” really, just the facts of the moment:) , sometimes a dream that does come true.

I too like the circle — and the echoes thereof – perhaps generations…
I think this one just might be one of my favourites that you’ve done. Of course I can say that now….until I see the next one and realize how fickle my favouritness can be!!
not fickle–or i’d be classed as that as well with my own work! rather we are refining our tastes and talents
NO PIN ZONE
I am a Canadian artist in Calgary, Alberta, working primarily with textiles. I'm curious, eccentric and just a little opinionated. Surrealist in thought, Fauvist at heart, this is my almost daily art journal, eccentric and eclectic, explorative and absurd. Sometimes i talk to myself out loud in real life---*and* then on here to answer myself.
